Magic Show and Magic Workshop
My ‘Half & Half’ option fills a need for many kids. Not all children like to just sit and watch. Many like to be active and learn something. Especially primary age kids. That’s why I came up with my combined show and workshop option. This is really great for birthday parties and OOSH’s where the kids want to see magic tricks but also learn some magic tricks too.
There is something I find really exciting when I present this option. It’s really exciting to see the kids being a little perplexed at not being able to do a trick, and then to suddenly see there face light up as they exclaim, “I can do it!”
It does wonders for their self worth (for me too) and to encourage them that they can accomplish something that moments before they could not do. It’s a great encouragement and life lesson for them.
Generally this option is a 30 minute magic show and 30 minute magic workshop. I have however developed this to be up to two hours for a party or over a number of weeks for an OOSH.
The tricks taught have been selected so every child attending will be able to learn something to take home and trick others with.
N0 child will be disappointed at not being able to learn something.
This option can also include some tricks to learn that are a little more challenging for the quick learners and the more dexterous kids.
Don’t forget I have my Working With Children Police Check and Public Liability Insurance.
Book early for school holidays
School holidays for Vacation Care centres can get very busy and dates are obviously limited. So I recommend to book well ahead. (At time of writing April holidays are nearly full and has been that way since December)
