Not all children like to just sit and watch. Many like to be active and learn something. Especially primary age kids. That’s why I came up with my magic show and magic workshop option.
This is a great option for birthday parties and OOSH where the kids want see magic tricks but also learn some magic tricks too.
When I perform and teach my magic show and magic workshop there is something I find really exciting. It’s really exciting to see the kids being a little perplexed at not being able to do a trick, and then to suddenly see there face light up as they exclaim, “I can do it!”
It does wonders for their self worth (for me too) and to encourage them that they can accomplish something that moments before they could not do. It’s a great life lesson for them.
Generally this option is a 30 minute magic show and 30 minute magic workshop. I have however developed this to be up to two hours for a party or over a number of weeks for an OOSH.
The tricks taught have been selected so every child attending will be able to learn something to take home and trick others with.
N0 no child will be disappointed at not being able to learn something.
The magic show and magic workshop also contains some tricks that are a little more challenging for the quick learners and the more dexterous.
School holidays for Vacation Care centres can get very busy and dates are obviously limited. So I recommend to book well ahead. (At time of writing April holidays are nearly full and has been that way since December)
